Very happy that I followed it here from the snippets at Lily's.

You can tell you're having fun now - as the episodes are getting longer and longer... even you don't want to wait for the next installment!Chris Alliniottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04094925215735680849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3588286618702079946.post-39679286466956476792011-02-03T17:03:53.410-08:002011-02-03T17:03:53.410-08:00I think men are more action oriented, and feel tha...I think men are more action oriented, and feel that every problem must have a solution. Women tend to get into the characters heads more and examine their motivations. We also know that some problems have no solution, and some ends will stay loose. This, of course, is a sweeping generalization, and like all sweeping generalizations is undoubtedly true. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3588286618702079946.post-41564303758026338122011-02-03T15:17:35.630-08:002011-02-03T15:17:35.630-08:00I've been deliberately avoiding re-reading his...I've been deliberately avoiding re-reading his books, but I think I'll pick them up after this is done. I remember I loved his sense of humor.

Beth--beffeysue--and I were just discussing on LJ the difference between male and female writers. When you talk about humanizing the characters, do you think that there is a definite difference in how he writes them because he is a man? Am I being unfair towards the sex I adore so much?

You may know what will happen! I've gone through everything, and there have been hints, some extremely subtle but most not, all along. You may have subconsciously picked up on them. I hope you did!R.S. This has the makings of an epic! ...My god, Becky! This has the makings of an epic! You manage to... humanize... these Incarnations in a way that even Anthony could not. Does it sound twisted that I am developing a little crush on Death? Ah, well... so be it. As he himself has said that he was a coward in life, I would like to see him redeem himself. I'm thinking that I know what will happen... but we'll see if I'm right....

And your description of the way Moira felt against him was so vivid, I felt as if it were ME feeling her up!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3588286618702079946.post-66154303239605231962011-02-03T12:33:54.144-08:002011-02-03T12:33:54.144-08:00I think I love you.I think I love you.R.S. Or wait… ;)

This:

”They passed a graveyard. Death wasn’t a romantic, but he would’ve liked to ask Moira to stop.” Brilliant!

The catacombs -- a disremembered place indeed, love how you used them in this story!

”He wondered if she would let him kiss her once before she did, or if he would be a coward, as he had been so often in life.” Ha! The living Death! Splendid!

”He made up a little speech as he followed her, in which he asked for her hand to kiss before she dealt the blow. And then his imagination took over, and after the speech, Moira told him he could kiss more than her hand, and she sobbed in his arms at the unjustness of his termination just as they were beginning to know each other better, her breasts bobbing like apples against his chest, and then—” Aww, I love Death and his childish fantasies! I never thought I´d claim to identify with Death…

”The soul, as if sensing Death at last come to collect it, strained towards his fingertips. And then, all at once, he heard them.” This part, the way you describe the lost souls -- scary!!

”Moira didn’t hold back.” Smashing end!

Superb writing, Becky!asuqihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05478950013985706858noreply@blogger.com
